man, i LOVE the pics. seriously, the blurriness is awesome, and i mean that very sincerely.
pics 3 & 4 are the best. paul looks a lot like elvis costello in #4 if you ask me.

Possibly supplemented by pillows, blankets, and a crude, makeshift periscope. holy shit, this is gonna be the best fort ever!

Guys, I'm exciting about our teaming up on behalf of Fugitive Kind. I'm going to go build a fort. ... out of cigarette butts & bad luck?

well, after reading the reviews, my biggest disappointment is that i didn't see the denver, new orleans, detroit, or nyc show!
still had a great time in mpls & memphis, though!

westerbergs quirkiness for covers would definitly lead him to covering big gay heart paulie, when i see your avatar, this is who i think of: and i actually do wonder what jj would do.

yeah i was gonna say too that dando's version has always been wonderful, and watching paul sing it in chicago it struck me funny that he was now covering songs already covered by dando. it would be funny if paul started covering "hate your friends", and dando started playing "23 years".

the lemonheads version of this song is just fantastic.

somehow the chicago vibe was just weird. there were times where all you could hear was the idle chatter of the concert-goers and you couldn't even hear paul. i have no idea what was up with that. chicago crowds are absolutely famous for this. ask a touring band.

EC is not a bad consolation prize. I'm just glad EC's Cincy show didn't overlap with PW's. yeah, but, come on... but with elvis costello, the milwaukee & chicago pw shows, this was a 4 alarm rock & roll weekend. i should have fully answered the call.

Indeed. I had to put in CFMT DVD just to get a fix as I was becoming depressed and overcome with jealousy. I'm hating everyone in Chicago tonight! does anyone else think it is just retarded that i am going to be in chicago tomorrow night, but not tonight? oh. i sure do. *shakes head*

Given my recent conversation with a guy... I'm taking at least partial credit for getting this in the set list. <side: Spike Lee's 25th Hour> "P'd" at the night club. I hope she's not pregnant. are you giving coordinates to the mothership, or am i just to old to know your vernacular? what the shit are you saying? (i can't believe he played gunshy. congratulations, you bastards ;D)

i haven't read through the posts here, but you should all go to the harp when you are in milwaukee. not because it is some awesome place, but you can see the scorch marks on the patio handrail where i accidently lit it on fire with a flaming shot.
the "y not II" is a great little bar that i have been drunk at many, many times.
the cactus club is bayview (south milw.) is cool, and i used to live down the street from it.
have fun. i'm jealous.
