There should be a private Mats concert for people who were stiffed by Rhino shipping to make up for it!

I think this will be one of those times when there is no shipment info and it just shows up at your door. OK, I know this is complaining about "first world problems" but....has anyone rec'd the boxset WITHOUT any update to their shipment from Rhino email/UPS website? Agree with what someone's post on one of the Mats Facebook pages, Rhino needs to get their act together (also file under DUH!/Fool me once shame on you).....if your preordered direct, I feel they should ship it so you receive it ON the release date....I'm not sure about specific bundles but it seems like folks who ordered elsewhere are getting quicker. As a side note, I bought the new Prince deluxe "Sign O' The Times" boxset from Amazon on Friday and got it Sunday. Rhino should partner with Amazon for future releases...

I don't know if this is the best place to post this but I wanted to give everybody who may have ordered through Rhino a heads up. Got a letter today from Warner Music Group saying that a number of their e-commerce websites had been hacked. If you did any business with them between 4/25/20 & 8/5/20, your personal info (name, address, credit card number etc..) may have been compromised. They provided a year of free credit monitoring to try to make me feel a bit safer, but I'm pissed. Should have just waited and ordered this box set through Amazon. Sheesh! Thx for the heads-up oldmatsfan. Man, what a bleepshow with the Rhino ordering.....I got the same letter this week. Hopefully they've updated their processes/systems!!

So mail came today (Saturday) and nothing from Rhino. I wanted to support Rhino for releasing it by ordering it thru them - even if it meant that OUTRAGEOUS $10.99 shipping - but this is UNACCEPTABLE. Coulda ordered on Amazon for $60 shipped. I paid close to $100 on Rhino months ago and don't even have the damn thing. Not to mention the annoying and confusing bi-weekly alerts the past few WEEKS from my credit card that Rhino kept charging my card over and over and over again. Total amateur hour from this company. No email from Rhino either. Won't get burned by Rhino again. THIS. I ordered to support Rhino for releasing this.....had I known, I would've gone to Jack's Music Shoppe here in NJ to have picked it up...could've supported local merchants instead. I think its the same package as I preordered. To me, preorders should be treated "special", what's the point in preordering if not? Crying over something this trivial is annoying but such a fan....wanted to get. Painful to see people in the UK even have this before folks in US. Agree 100% too on shipping comment. They can take the 15% back for future orders, won't be ordering direct from them in future. I'm sure UPS will deliver the package at 11:59:59 PM on day it's to arrive.

I'm so bummed....I was really expecting it tomorrow. They've had these orders since July! Plenty of time to get sorted and shipped......if we preordered, we should be first people getting them. Had I known, I would've ordered from somewhere else but wanted to give my money to Rhino......woe is me.

For me, the decisive sentence from Rhino is this. "In total, the box includes 60 tracks–58 of which have never been heard before." store.rhino.com/dead-man-s-pop-4cd-1lp-deluxe-cassette.htmlThere is also this from Yahoo/Consequence of Sound: "Pre-orders are currently ongoing. The first 500 fans that purchase the box set through Rhino will receive a 14-track cassette featuring highlights from the box along with two additional unreleased tracks: the outtake “Asking Me Lies” and an instrumental of “I Won’t” (Bearsville Version). The cassette also features the original, unused cover art for Don’t Tell A Soul. Very cool." www.yahoo.com/entertainment/replacements-announce-box-set-dead-004755420.htmlDo I have a functioning cassette player? No. Have I preordered despite Rhino's hefty shipping fee ($10.99)? Yes. Was wondering why the cassette.....it's a bonus. Just ordered and looks I am getting!

...But does Paul have teeth? Good teeth, rather. Every shot I've seen of him in recent years makes me tend to believe that there's nothing but gum behind that smirk. I think there is some wear and tear there from smoking/drinking/bottle hitting over the years....
