I think they are going to be open to the public too, as they are at the Brown Theatre, which I presume would seat more than the attendees of the confrence? I just plan on checking the triple A radio site for updates, or maybe Drew will keep us posted as promised.
First round is on me, provided you don't turn your back on last call! And too bad about the Tide, though they had a good run.

I just made reservations for me and mrs goodo... see you at the bar, A-Reg... fyi, I only think that cause it's what I read in the Louisville paper: "WFPK-FM has announced the concert line-up for this year's NONCommvention, a trade show for noncommercial radio personnel that includes two concerts that are open to the public. " For more info, you can try emailing: noncomm@wfpk.orgk.

Ted - keep listening, watch the web site - I think we'll have some solid on-sale dates this week - thanks - Dan
That was the reply from Dan Reed. Looks like public sales are a sure thing, more info to follow!

As soon as I know anything about on-sale, and I can get to a computer, all of you will know too! Or, keep checking wfpk.org I actually ran into Dan Reed at the Lebowski Fest worldwide headquarters Friday night and thanked him for bringing Paul in for my birthday (cuz it's all about *me* )

I think I might head down for this concert if I can. It's only a ten hour drive or so for me... Okay, who's driving the Bus once we're all in town? I have a hunch, that a few of us might not be in any condition to drive .

If you are serious gtrplyr, what route are you taking? If you come down I-75 from detroit, or I-71 from Cleveland, we could carpool from Cincy, save you at least 200 miles (roundtrip) of driving. Lemme know.
Once there, I plan on staying downtown, and bar crawl on foot!

What day were you planning on leaving/returning?

Leaving in the afternoon Friday, in time to check in the hotel, grab a bite, and head over to the show. Planning on coming back Sunday AM.

Let me get back to you A_Regular. I have to figure out when I would be leaving on Friday.
Does anybody know what time the show starts on Friday?

I don't think its been announced yet re show time. I expect they will when tickets go on sale, hopefully this week. My guess is 8 pm but its just a guess. I will adjust my Friday schedule based on the timing of the show.

Okay, I'm tentatively in. I will check my schedule at work, but I'm pretty sure this will be a go...
I wouldn't mind catching Patty Griffin on the Friday.

If it wasn't for this board, I'd never have found out he's playing here, so thanks. I haven't heard anything about when tix go on sale but will post as soon as I find out.
Thanks to A_Regular, I'm gonna try to setup a show the night before and invite some of our better songwriters like Paul K, Kirby Tittle, Billy Bartley, etc. If anyone has any preference for time/day/bar let me know...Flo

Sounds fun media, but please be aware that some of us will be attending the Friday night show with Patty G., so the timing would have to be after that. Sounds like a great after show party though. Any place downtown would be great, as its likely that most of us may not be willing to risk the breathalyzer. Nudge, can you make it?
