There must be quite a few of these in a warehouse somewhere - the price is dropping like a lead balloon. I don't think it was ever that high to start with.

I saw them for for $149 at one time. I got mine for under $100 shipped. Mine was decent out of the box. No sharp frets and overall not too bad. I've been playing it a bit more and have had the tuning issues people have stated. I've had the pinging when trying to tune so it was binding at the nut. I had a Tusq nut blank in my spare parts and cut a new nut for it. I then did a complete set up. This is a nice player once you put some time into it. I had some chrome tele knobs laying around also and replaced the white plastic volume and tone knobs. This thing has some bite plugged straight into my tube amp.

Love my PW First Act guitar and what a price!! Very easy to play, nice neck and no tuning problems like some others have found. All that was need was a slight aleration of the action and setting the intonation and I was off and rocking. A cool cheap guitar and easy to play!! Get one!
