The Mats on somekinda World Music Awards show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1gdRQ_N3PUThis was actually a turning point in my life. I had heard this song on the college radio and thought it was pretty good. When I saw this, I was blown away and since I've been a huge fan.

What does Paul say after 'we go on next' that Tommy thinks is so funny?

These videos are great. They got me thinking about who all played live with PW throughout his post Replacements career (I love Minehan's energy). This is what I could find. Any additions or corrections? 1993David Minehan - guitar Darren Hill - bass Josh Freese - drums 1996Tommy Keene - guitar Michael Bland - drums Brian Macleod - drums Ken Chastain - bass 2002Solo 2004-2005Kevin Bowe - guitar, mandolin Michael Bland - drums Jim Boquist - bass 2005 First Act ShowDave Minehan - guitar BTW, if you haven't already seen it, check out Michael Bland's site www.michaelbland.org/ . The home page is hilarious and there are some good pics too.

Is it just me or does Chris' singing voice sound exactly like Evan Dando's?

I could watch the SNL performances over and over (Knockin on Mine and Can't Hardly Wait). Freese is mesmerizing on the kit. They totally jacked up Paul too.

My friend had always told me about the CHW video where Josh Freese yells out "Burt Reynolds"....I'd never seen it 'till now. Thanks.

I have that on DVD, and I must say its the best, most energetic/rock n roll performance I've ever seen. Paul and his band play music like it should be played on this song for sure.

I saw the Mats a mess of times but I'd trade a few of those to have been paying attention and seen him in the 90s. Why didn't he just form a new band and carry on like that? Damn. That's an unclassifiably great song and performance.

If you go to (I think its) angryyoungandpoor.com, and type in the replacements, you can get a 2 disc dvd of mats stuff. The one I have is titles differently, but it soulds like the same thing from the description.
