Ok I know I shouldn't post everytime I hear the band on the radio but damn the Current played Customer today. Was really not expecting that. The last time I heard that on the radio was when my friend got interviewed and did a bit of guest DJing on RadioK (college radio station). Last night at 6:15 on The Current, I'm In Trouble "from The Replacements first full length recording"

Good call Cellar - I heard it too. I've requested they play Mr. Rabbit thinking it would be a good fit, haven't heard it yet though.

Seriously? Was he sporting the orange vest and hand held stop sign? No vest, but he was wearing a white baseball cap and shades and protecting the lives of two boys about waist high.

Tonight here in Mpls, Drive 105 played "As Far As I Know". Good pick IMHO for the radio masses.

The show entitled "Rebel Rebel (Rock for pvssy)" opened with answering machine messages to Mary Lucia from two of the sponsored "feline rescue" shelters, withdrawing their association with the show because they didn't like the word "pvssy" in the title . (neither does this message board like "pussie" with a "y") This got a very good laugh and became the running joke of the show. Mary Lucia suggested that the proceeds go to her anger management classes. Laurie Lindeen - I don't remember what song she did, but I was impressed. She's cute as a button too. I suggest that next year, the show should be called "Rebel Rebel (Rock for Bitches)"

Got a comp. ticket at First Avenue last night for the "Rebel Rebel - Tribute to David Bowie" show on April 5. Laurie Lindeen is a featured performer along with Chan Poling, John Munson, Mason Jennings, Kraig Johnson, Marc Perlman, John Eller, Faux Jean, Venus, members of Astronaut Wife, Divorcee, Revolver Modele and more.
p.s. The Honeydogs show last night was just incredible.

Also got the "14" book on ebay - cost me a little more, about $30. Wanted to have it ever since I saw someone get it signed on CFMT.
