I hope Paul reads this thread. 14 pages of reasons to keep on doin' what he's doin.

Runaway Wind - because I borrowed the "I'm your spark" line and it won me some times to remember.
Thanks Paul.

Hi, I'm Jim, I'm 46 and a Paulaholic. My habit started with 14 Songs. I first saw Paul live last year at the Pantages.

Am I mistaken or was there some "you be me for awhile and I'll be you" happening at the end of the interview?

In that thread "Harp interview" some discussion started about Paul opening a new shop in the former location of Rag & Bone Books in "chi chi" Linden Hills. Seemed like an interesting proposition deserving more discussion. How about a new restaurant - "cigarettes and fingernails"

Nepotism rules! I'm kidding, I'm kidding! It was funny because Mary sounded like she was playing dumb just a little - she said something like "I belieeeve this is from his first solo release after the break up of the Replacements". I wouldn't want Mary to be afraid of playing her brother's stuff. Got to believe they are justifiably pretty proud of each other.

In the sample (http://www.publicradio.org/tools/media/player/minnesota/radio/the_current/893_current_sample), Mary sounds just a little too sweet. I bet she's very nervous about pleasing the new boss (plus MPR has that goody goody reputation). I bet Mary will re-discover her edge in no time.

Mr. Harry Squint could open a clothing boutique, like Nelly did here with his 'Apple Bottoms' line. He could sell high-quality, duct-taped jammies and spray painted leather goods. Whoa - there's not enough parking in L.H. for a good idea like that!

Paul could open a cigar shop in L.H. That would throw a wrench in the works. If I ran into Paul & Johnny at the Wild Rumpus I'd buy Johnny a copy of "The Tale of Despereaux".

ha ha thats great, possible stalker. Thats too bad its not on the way home. They have a book store in the area that I used to take my little cousins too all the time cause there's a mini door to the place for kids. The Wild Rumpus! Great little bookstore, and crammed with loose animals too.
