Hi, I’m looking to fill in the rarities gaps in my PW collection and I need your help!
Does anyone have Heather Browne’s PW rarities collection (Fuel Friends Blog) or even better an updated version of hers with “She looks like Rain” “Any Trouble” “Positively 4th Street” and “Old Money” or does anyone have those separate?
Also, has anyone ripped the audio from the DVD version of Tremble and split it up? I probably will in the next few weeks if not, but am glad to save the time if someone already has done it! Thanks!

I have the CDs with "Old Money" and "Positively 4th Street" and would be very happy to share if I could get copies of "She Looks Like Rain," "Any Trouble" and any other rarities ("King of America" anyone?). I thought I had everything but apparently not.

I bought a promo CD of "Besterberg" that has an interesting inscription on the sleeve, may just be a boilerplate type thing, but the "this is a pre-release and does not reflect the final blah blah blah" was more wordy and detailed than any other messages i've seen like that over the years so I'm curious to see if there are any differences. I can rip and upload here tonight...

Awesome Robert and psychopharmacology,
I have 49:00 all cut up with separated tracks, all 12 of the Dry Wood Garage tracks, the Mr. F single, and “My Road Now” along with the other more recent EPs. Unless someone has that "King of America" disc that they’re willing to share, at least we have the I Don’t Care’s version from Wild Stab which, as speculated on the thread there may be the same as the one from the promo CD and the Eventually sessions as Juliana Hatfield is not noticeable anywhere on the track. Plus, I just checked, and while the entire rest of the version I got from Amazon comes tagged as Alternative Rock, "King of America" is the only track on the album tagged as Rock. That could be nothing, but lends a bit to the possibility it came from another source and someone forgot to fix it the tagging to make it match the rest of the tracks.
I also have the Flexi tracks and Bonus Cassette Mats tracks. My go to with a rarities set, when creating one, is to make it complete and chronological
I have everything Robert Pollard and Tobin Sprout have ever released (and I believe everything they haven't that's out there) in bands and solo, but the bizarre rare promo tracks from Paul is something I've never seen with any other artist I've gone to make a rarities set together for.

I've always wanted 49:00 cut up! I think I have most or all of the other stuff you mentioned, but would rather receive and examine just in case. Let's exchange if you want to create a complete rarities collection. If you don't have "Old Money" and "Positively 4th Street" I could provide those too. I also have PW doing Dylan's "It Takes A Lot to Laugh..."

here's the promo cd-r... as far as I can tell the major differences are some silence before and after tracks and stain yer blood being the version with friends dialogue... someone more attentive could listen for more if they were so inclined: we.tl/t-JAFali1JBxon further listen, a lot of these tracks seem to be very much unmastered in some way, which is very cool.

Here is "Cheyenne" for those asking about it, spent all morning searching people's scrobbles on last.fm trying to find the person who scrobbled the track! Many thanks to Jodi for keeping up with a copy. Great tune. Hoping to score that CD for "King of America" as well and I think then that should put to bed most of these very limited one-off promo tracks minus She Looks Like Rain we.tl/t-GiUGgopPFK

No clue, though I hope we can find out soon. It certainly sounds like it could be the same version or re-use most tracking from the Eventually era version...

Hmmm, it seems like King of America may be the same one on the I Don't Care's CD, if it's an out take. The entire CD were Paul's old demos he had and I thought he threw us a bone with the unreleased track of King of America

Looking through that page, and another one I found, it looks like there are a handful of other tracks that have eluded me and most of us. I put the info as far as I know after each one, but please correct me if I have anything incorrect. If anyone has any of this, post it here or DM me! :
"Hey Kid" Mats "Promise You Nothing " Mats “Hard to Wave in Handcuffs” Mats “Don’t Get Married” (Based on youtube clip, sounds like an early version of You’re getting Married) Mats Outta My System (Hot Stove, Cool Music) -PW Diary aka Shopping Bag -PW I Belong (Vinyl mix) -PW Diary aka Shopping Bag –PW Whatever Happened to Paul (2002 NY Show) -PW "Months" song (s-e-p-t-e-m-b-e-r) Pantages in MPLS? -PW Pleasure Of Your Company, (Unreleased Demo?) Thoroughbred (Unreleased Demo ?)

I definitely have some of these from an old home demos collection but not accessible from my phone. I will get to and post if no one else has. Is “Months” an early live version of the “September” that is one of the dry wood garage SoundCloud songs? I don’t have a download but streaming soundcloud.app.goo.gl/pLE3bAVRZaq7x7aq5

Awesome Bobb! Good call, based on the description, that is the same song as the Dry Wood Garage track!
