Awesome! just a few notes... opened with stain yer blood, covered "different drum" by the stone ponys as well as the other covers played during first leg.
tear jerker moment during "regular", mentioned how his uncle paul had died 2 days ago and that his uncle's son told him how his uncle had saved articles videos, etc. and how he never spoke to him and was visably choked up while talking about it during the song.
paul returns for 2nd encore on drums for ...HOOTENANNY!!!

Those of you going on to Chicago should be in for an amazing show. Many thanks to the group we met at the Water Street Brewery! We had a really great time and I can't believe how powerful that band is! -pjc

That Milwaukee show really rocked it to Russia. Especially Micheals vocals on Hootenanny.

I did indeed hear Gunshy along with many other great songs, as big fan of Paul's solo stuff as well as the Replacements, I don't think the sve how could have been much better, Alex Chilton, Love Untold, Left Of The Dial, MPLS, High Time, Stain Yer Blood sounded great.

Look, this is not how we want to start this leg of the tour. Am I going to have to quit my job and get on a plane???
Any show that opened with Stain Yer' Blood surely deserves more respect than this..................
What next, he plays Dead Flowers tonight and nobody reports it???

The show in Milwaukee was great. Paul and the band sounded great. Michael Bland is fantastic. They took the stage to Willie Nelson's Me and Paul. Paul said, "Rock n roll - we know how to play it." He mentioned that he hadn't been in Milw. in 9 years and he wrote this song 9 years ago and went into Stain Yer Blood. Not sure about a no set list rule, so it won't be in order after the first 7. Lots of energy, 2 encores, and 2 1/2 hours long. Paul played at least 7 different guitars. Songs (1st 7 in order) I might be forgetting 1 or 2 more, but these were played.
Stain Yer Blood If I had a Hammer Gunshy AAA Kiss me on the bus Merry go round Someone take the wheel Making me go Now I wonder As Far as I know Let the bad times roll Mr. Rabbitt Live Forever High Time Knockin on mine Love Untold Valentine IOU Anyways All Right Can't Hardly Wait (w/ parts of Vampires & Failures) Alex Chilton Here Comes a Regular (Paul solo) Skyway (Paul solo) What a Day for a Night Achin To Be MPLS Hootenany (Paul on drums, Micheal on bass, all singing) Left Of The Dial
