I also wonder what is going on with the sale of #1 and hope that it was actually sold for $10,000. It is no longer listed as sold but completed with 0 bids... Maybe it is just some flakey thing with eBay.

Ugh!! Lost my auction at the 11th hour. Somebody must've shelled out more than $350 for # 94. Damn!! Sounds like it raised some good coin for Slim though which is what it is all about.

having gone through plenty of rigamarole over the past three days, in part because PayPal wouldn't verify me as i was trying to buy this thing while on vacation in the Caribbean, i'm happy to finally say i'm the proud owner of #132, as i just got home, unpacked and paid.
and a big kudos to those i dealt with at New West Records for having the patience to understand my plight.

Was there ever an explanation as to why there's such a long wait between the close of the auction and the shipping of the EP's? Seems unusually long considering there's only 250 items. Just an observation.

Because the packages include the digital downloads, they want them to get to us around the same time the general public can buy them. Or at least that's my theory.

Anyone interested in bidding on the auctions of the 45s? Wouldn't it be great if they were signed too?

I wish they waited until after I got my taxes back to have the first auction.I wouldn't mind bidding on the Lucinda or Deer Tick 45's.I hope they are signed! If it's about raising money, they should be.

According to what I've read, most, if not all of the limited edition releases, will be signed.

Does anybody know if they are still planning to release a non-collectible vinyl of the record or at least a CD? (Please say VINYL! :-))
