the other night i accidentally stepped on my $700.00 brace that i have to treat my neurological disorder (Charcot Marie Tooth) it was inside my shoe on the floor beside my bed and i got out of bed and stepped on it. cracked it bad. so i'm going to have to get it replaced. all i have to fork over is $100.00 clearly not enough, but i am so glad the bidding is going so well! wish i didn't have these other expenses! but my attitude with this is no different than the attitude i have when i experience any flair ups in my foot. things could always be worse. Happy Bidding Everyone!!!

On the bright side, maybe you'll be able to buy an original copy if someone decides to resell it down the road sometime. Good luck to you.

My only criticism of the auction is that I wish Slim would have signed the record as well. Then it would feel more like a Replacements “trophy” to me. Of course, his writing ability is impaired or nonexistent; I understand that and wouldn’t want him to overwork himself. But this is Slim! His mark, even if it was a line or an ‘x’ would have been icing on the cake. Anyway, we all find out tomorrow if we won! Yeah!

been monitoring the past little while. looks like $350-360 range is the standard now that we got into the 90s out of 250.

I got sidetracked today....'didn't get online until #91/250 was ending. How did the first 90 sell (besides 1/250 @ $10K )? Average like they're selling now? $350-$400 range?

They've been in that range all day. Some have gone into the $400/500 range and some in the lower $300 but the great majority are between $350 - $400. I thought the prices would go down as the numbers went up but that hasn't been the case in the least.
Great for Slim for sure!

WOW....I won #150. I'm thrilled and money well spent to help out Slim. I think the bidding is going to be in the 400 - 700 range by the end of the night/auction. Maybe not?
I saw Slim open for Chris Whitley a long time ago and there were 5 people there (including me) to see him. Got the chance to hang with him and drink a few beers after he played. He had so many great stories about the band. He was such a nice and humble man, he had nothing but great things to say about the band. He didn't care about the lack of audience, he just smiled and played. Took requests! God bless him!

I won 145. I'm a huge Whitley fan too. Did you know his daughter has an album coming out next week? She's amazing. Almost as good as her dad was.

That's fantastic news, Kathy! It would be great if the SFS site keeps everyone updated on the fundraising milestones. This is such a success and it's just the beginning! Whoever won a limited edition EP, please post some pics of the packaging and such once it's in your hands. From the listing shipping info, it appears there's going to be at least a month or so wait before it arrives?

Sooo glad for the Dunlap family and the people that turned this idea into reality. Paul, Chris and Tommy must feel pretty good too. God forbid something happening to either of them, but it is nice to know they have each other's back.
