What is the deal with the flexidiscs? Are they mini-CD's or mini vinyl? I have no problem ordering it or paying for it, I just don't want to pay a ton for an import for one song or get a flexidisc and have it need a turntable. $6 for a backorder is nothing, but looking at ebay they appear to be a disc to be played on a turntable. it's a mini record, rankel. you need a turntable. wanna come over to my house?

If I'm not mistaken, 33rd of July is on the Suicaine import, and Make your Own kind of music is on both the Bob flexidisc and the Japanese version of eventually. that might just be the truth. i have the american versions of both, so what do i know. i got the mp3's off of napster, and picked up the flexidisc on ebay.

is that on the japanese version of eventually? i thought only the 33rd of july was on that version... i have make your own kind of music on a flexidisc from "the bob" magazine (is that the right one?).
as for the mp3, try napster, ca. 1999.

Note: Peter Jesperson has stated that the Mats recorded almost two album's worth of material during the Hootenanny sessions, so there are presumably several other outtakes from these sessions whose titles are unknown. this has always made me smile. someday....

holy shit. i haven't heard of cardinal sin, but cadillac blindside had some killer tunes. also, song of zarathustra was awesome. there was song on the comp "no hold back... all attack!!!" by the crush that absolutely killed (tasting you, spitting you out)....
must check this out.

What the f*ck? Paul is covering his face from camera? I'm thinking that he is afraid that the whole album is lame. yes, that must be it. now, back to your hole!

Some may say I'm partial because I came up with the "Besterberg" title but even if it was called "Paul Westerberg Music for Jerks with Ironic Message Board Names" I'd still buy it. HIGH OOOOOOOH! brad just knocks that one into next week!

i appreciate that, angela. and remember, i left the door open to our relationship.
one last little "pete" thingy... it is SO OBVIOUS that waits has worn, and continues to wear suits that i have to wonder if we are talking about the same person. are you thinking of tom jones? because he wears tight turtlenecks with bright sport coats.
*shakes head*

I gotta disagree with that one. Tom would never wear a suit like that and I've never seen him in one. Carry on go ahead & disagree. tom wears suits sometimes. i'm sorry you disagree, but honestly, i'm not.

"It's a waste of his obvious talent and time hanging around with the other guy..."

the surprising thing about that picture is that it was taken for "folker", but wasn't used.
