...like to see? Not me. But I'm having trouble thinking up more thread titles.

I wonder if a collaboration would really be a collaboration. It's hard to see much collaborating going on with JH.

I want him to record an album with Ryan Adams producing. If you listen to the records that Adams has produced, he has a knack for finding the right balance between raw and polished. Jesse Malin's The Heat is a great example. And judging by Adams' own demos, he'd likely push for fully fleshed out songs with actual verses, chorus and bridge.

haha, well, yes, then I think Ryan Adams would do a great job. He is a fan and always seems to get a good sound on record, so good idea

I'd love to see what Jack White or Rick Rubin would do with Paul in the studio.

We know what Rick Rubin would do. He'd turn off all the reverb and then he'd go meditate.

Paul McCartney and Paul Weller, to form my long-time, all-time fantasy supergroup, "The Trinity of Pauls"

Paul McCartney and Paul Weller, to form my long-time, all-time fantasy supergroup, "The Trinity of Pauls" I would love to see Westerberg drag McCartney "through the mud". Hell, McCartney has a chance to play with someone on the level of his old bandmate. Paul, Paul, and Ringo for a backbeat to come up with some interesting shit. McCartney needs to play in a power trio. Billionaires become easily complacent.

Tempted to suggest a PW/ Billy Joe Armstrong collaboration but who knows?
Just for grins, how about PW and Lou Barlow?
Maybe something Marc Bell on drums.
