Anyone know the story behind the song? Who it was about, what circumstances? From what I remember, he wrote that song for Marianne Faithful and for whatever reason, recorded it himself. I LOVE the version from the Petty tour when Benmont Tench would join them onstage on keyboards. The ASD version is good, but, wow, this one is tops in my book! |
