cant rmemeber if i asked this before, but...
I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in using a hub for trading shows and make it quasi-official or whatever. dime is great and i got 99% of my stuff from there but things dont stay active very long there. so if we had a hub we all agreed on using the shows would be there all the time. or maybe we could just start our own small channel, no idea how to do that though.

could be an interesting addition to the board. i believe the colormeimpessed site had a hub for trading.

This is a fantastic idea! Some folks out there are sitting on 200+ live mats/westy shows. Personally I would love to hear it all. What is the best way for them to post these jewels?
Maybe somebody could be the official 'unofficial' archivist for known live recordings? They could 'seed' the shows and allow for more sharing.

OK guys we are online i think.
I think all you guys need is the hub address which is 70.15.124.146
ive never ran one of these hopefully it doesnt suck up too much bandwidth cause my isp doesnt like me using so much. but lets test this out.
unless someone can come up with a cool name i just named it MWT.
the only rule right now is no lossy stuff please. not sure if you will need any more than that. im sure im gonna need to figure out how to be a mod here and i might need some help.
well lets just start by seeing if anyone else can connect so i dont have to sit here all alone.

its not an ftp. you need one of these, or some other like program. dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/www.apexdc.net/i use apex so that might be the issue since dc++ is kinda the standard. but i prefer apex since it has more settings and such. |

i had someone from the pink floyd see if he could connect, and they got in. has anyone else tried to connect? im gonna leave the hub off for tonight, but once i wake up tomorrow it should be up again.

seems there is some connection issues. since only squaw as far as i know has used the hub its hard to say whether its from my end or hers. but accessing the hub seems to work fine. just being able to download is the problem, squaw and i havent had any luck getting files from each other yet.

I was able to download from another hub today, so I'm pretty sure I'm OK. I would encourage everyone to join in, that way we could help each other get going.
