It appears that the series of books being put out by Continuum, has a new addition coming soon. For anyone that hasn't seen any of the books in this series, it's basically a collection of books, written by musicians, about their favorite albums. I know one of the books was by Joe Pernice about the Smith's album "Meat is Murder."
Anyways, there's a book about "Let it Be" written by Colin Melroy of the Decemberists coming out sometime this year.
Here's the blurb:
The Decemberists is on tour through the end of the month, at which point the group will take a break to work on outside efforts. Meloy is actually in the process of writing a book for a series being produced by Continuum, a small publishing house. The series, titled 33 1/3, is a collection of short books produced by writers, musicians and other artists all writing about their favorite albums. Meloy’s? Let It Be, the seminal album by the Replacements. “It’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard, and means more to me than any other.”
