hey, something tells me he's going to finish work on Open Season and then get restless for the road again.

Europe beckon's. Methinks. A lttle break, some family time...and...back on the road with the boys. I was at Philly and agree, it was very good having Mr. Westerberg back in our midst. The true fans DO still get it, even if the "Johnny come lately's" have long since abandoned ship. The songs still matter, both old and new: they still conjure deep feeling, and empathy. We all should age so well.

OK, you guys are really making me sad! Please observe a moment of silence for Paul's fans here in Toronto and elsewhere who didn't get to see this tour. Thank you.

I went to the Columbia show alone, and I hate going to shows solo, but I never felt more comfortable. Yeah I hear ya. I went to Milwaukee alone but had a blast.

I don't mean to whine, but here I am, going into the second consecutive weekend where I find myself *not* preparing for a trip to go see PW and HOF.
I just don't know what to do with myself (god forbid I should clean the house or something)...and it ain't that pretty at all.
I realize that the guys have more than earned a break, but can we pleeeeeeeeeeease look forward to some more dates in the not-too-distant future?
How about even just some in-stores to support Besterberg? Pleeeeeease?
~~Meri, venting
p.s. ok, maybe I *did* mean to whine....

Waaaaa.... It stinks that its over. I saw my first show (Memphis) and another (Louisville) as an added bonus. I hope he reschedules Nashville! Met some really cool folkers.....A Reg, Stover, and some others that I can't remember their screen names....photo guy from Buffalo, and Matt.... Anyway, I'm not the most or least knowledgable fan, but I agree that Paul's shows are great, what a live performer, fans are friendly, being by the bus is cool....even if Paul did kiss my girlfriend on the lips. What a Rock Star! Hope Paul hits the road again and I'll see some of yall soon! Sowbug

I emailed a performing artist I know in Nashville (Amy Rigby/Koch Records)) about Paul's show being cancelled. She told me that Nashville sucks like that, the lousy attendance thing.

Diary of a Mod Housewife is a GREAT record. RJ, yeah, she's got some good stuff out there. Obviously not as angry as with "Diary". She's pretty cool and funny too. I should clarify that I don't really know her in the sense that I could call her up at anytime and shoot the breeze. I'm more of an acquaintance. Her brother lives in the DC metro area, so Amy comes thru town frequently. In fact, I saw her a few years back where she had Steve Wynn on the bill with her. Steve's drummer is Linda Pitmon, of Zuzu's Petals fame. Linda did double duty that nite, also playing drums for Amy. I got to talk to Linda after the show and she was very nice. She told me that she and Steve are living in NYC but that she misses Minne. the last time she was back there, she stopped in to see Laurie Lindeen. Paul was down in the basement and didn't come up to say hello. Which is good---I don't want her interrupting Paul when he's putting together some good stuff down in the basement!

Ok then, when is this next leg starting up? I'm bored catching a couple of other shows from other bands.
I vote for another tour, with all new material. Keep Everything Goes Wrong and the Electric Crackle/Drag for the encore, along with Wild and Lethal and the now notorious little bitch tune. Opening with My Daydream will be cool too, OK?
Thanks.
