I may be coming in from NJ. If I can figure away tomake it work related and pass off the cost! (sshhhhh) It would be fun to have some drinks before the show. Anyone have suggestions? I think the last time I was in Cleveland was in '92 (?) during U2's Achtung Baby Tour. Hopefully someone will get something going. - Tars

I don't know a lot about Cleveland, but I booked a hotel today that is about 2 blocks from the venue. I will look around tomorrow and see if I can find a bar close by.

I live in Cleveland--I can't make it to the show but there are some good bars around the HOB area. I'll post some addresses and links for anyone who is interested.

We're driving in from Memphis, so depending on departure and arrival, we're hoping to meet up at the bar.

When I first read this, I thought you were going to Louisville *and* Cleveland....I was turning green 'til I read Tars' post. ~~Meri, going to Boston and still debating about Philadelphia (but definitely not Cleveland or Louisville) p.s. Welcome, runaway wind!

Welcome, runaway wind! LOL, I may see you in Boston. There's a Sox game that night, but a friend suggested we go to Bukowski's Tavern (50 Dalton Street). I don't know how close it is to The Avalon, but I can't imagine it's far. - Tars

If you don't know them it'll take longer to walk over to Comm Ave and go through Kenmore. Coming out of Avalon and into the shadow of Fenway when a game is happening is tres cool. Last time I did it it was a Yankees game so it was supernuts. Did I mention that we are the World Champs? Oh, yeah, we won the superbowl 3 of the last 4 years too.
