I was just curious what it's been like this time around..I'm going to the shows in NYC and i was wondering if cameras were allowed and has paul been signing stuff by the bus like on the last tour? I'm assuming that there has been no invites this time around to join in on stage.... thanks Chris ps- does anybody have a general idea about what time he may hit the stage? it's a school night and my students may be getting a run down sleepy folk star for a teacher...

He could change the rules for the East Coast, but reports from the first leg of the tour indicate that he was pretty consistently starting the show early...around 8:30pm... No warm up band. Duration of the show, approximatley 2 hours. No cameras or recorders allowed, so if that is something you are interested in you will need to practice "stealth".

Oh yes, and the bus doors usually open up after the show. But you might have to wait an hour or so.. That could make it a late night for you.

Cameras were a piece of cake unless at HOB. Even then you could get in there with your camera phone. Depends on the security of the place you are going.

On West Coast, cameras and recorders weren't a problem, and like they wrote above, the show was about 2 hours (though Seattle didn't start til 9-9:15).
However, I know my NY venues fairly well and I'd say you have 50/50 odds at best with bringing in cameras and the like. Bowery has no problem with them, but then Irving has a super-thorough patdown. Never seen a show at Supper Club, so I'm not sure where that'll lie. Of course, I'm just talking legally here. Sneaking stuff in always works...
