Anyone want to meet prior to the show for a few drinks? There is a good bar not too far from the show and lo and behold they have two Replacements records on the jukebox.
Let me know....

Just might, providing I get out of the coalmine in time. What's the name of the club?

Hi:
Can you let me know what kind of venue the Columbus show is at? Is it standing room or assigned seats? I may make a long drive to the show and may meet up before the show
thanks

Hi: Can you let me know what kind of venue the Columbus show is at? Is it standing room or assigned seats? I may make a long drive to the show and may meet up before the show thanks The Newport is a very old theater that has been a fixture on High Street (across from THE Ohio State University) for, uh, forever, I think. It's a great place to see a show, although security can be jerks from time to time. Old, ornate, standing room pit area. Sound varies from show to show, but I love the old place. Used to be an Agora Ballroom back in the day. It was the sight of my first Mats show in the mid eighties. Have seen many shows there. Also, High Street is a good place to people watch, get drinks, check out record stores (House o Records, Used Kids, Singin'Dog) and just generally hang out. Check out the Newport's web page : www.promowestpavilion.com/sections/newport/index.aspPeace, Jeff

MannyJim,
I'll be in Cleveland also.
There are hotels near by but none that are walking distance. But within a short drive or cab ride.
If you are coming let me know and I'll help you find some places.

That's fine by me as long as we can play the music. It doesnt look like a big gathering at this point or would you advertise it?

You can count me in....I love St James but i'm open to whatever. If Skully's falls through St James can be the backup.
Skully's is an easier trip to the club also..

Hi:
Has there been a final decision where the location will be? If yes, do you have the exact address? I want to get directions as I am from out of town. Are there bars within walking distance of the club?
