Yeah... It freaked me out... So much larger in my mind than in life. I noticed when I saw him up close in '93 in Philly...
I saw Sylvester Stallone recently walking around Pasadena (filming the Contender next door).. ..he's smaller than Paul if that puts things into perspective...

how about Tommy? in some shots he looks just a little taller than Paul . by the way does any one else see a resemblance in Paul and Tommy? The way they bop around on stage, i always saw more of a resemblance than Bob and Tommy. I saw Tommy in Denver a few months ago. He came out to the bar during his backing band performance and had drinks with the very scant crowd. I stood next to Tommy and was suprised that he was taller than I expected. I am 6 foot and he had to be an inch or two shorter than I was. However, he was wearing shoes with large soles and his hair was sticking up, but he was taller than I thought. |

I saw Tommy at the Double Door on the '03(?) tour. He was a lot taller than I thought. I'm 5'10" and I thought he was about the same or a little taller, I didn't do a shoe check though. I only met Paul once in '85 and he seemed about 5'8"

Two that "stood" out for me were Robert Deniro at 5'9" and Judy Garland at 4'11". That just shows what a camera can do I guess.
