Ok, here's the gist of the story--if you want to read the whole thing look below...
I have a recording of the London show. It's on 2 microcassettes. This is tough. I've been trying to record it onto my computer so I can share it with all of you--this is not working. I have an iMac with OS 10.1.2, and this device called an iMic. Now the iMic is not working with my comp. for some frustrating reason. Can't get any sound in. So, I can't record the show into Mp3's to weed. Anyone can help me with that?
My friend has a PC, and I got to record (the iMic works fine on a PC--thanks Apple--you f*ckers) 1 minute of the opening song (Waiting for somebody), but since it's a trial version (Cool Edit 2000) that's all I can do. Anyone know of a free (and I emphasize FREE) PC download to record stuff?
Now, by this point I'm frustrated as hell. The iMic just doesn't work on my Mac, and I don't think I'll have much access to a PC. At this point I'm asking:
Does anyone want a copy of this show on a regular cassette tape?
I can do that fine, and someone else can either put this show into Mp3's or just copy the cassette. I don't want to send out the originals because they mean a lot to me and I don't want to lose them in the mail. Let me know about that one.
Thanks

Ok, now the full story. For several reasons I couldn't go to London for the show and was stuck in NYC. Now, my girlfriend lives in London, PW fan, and said she would record the show. So, she did in her sony voice recorder. (If these ever get out everybody should thank her, let's call her K for now) Then, she mailed me the tapes a few days later.
I got the microcassettes, listened to them on my recorder, and thought, "Man, gotta share these with the board people." That was a nice idea until I realized what a sisyphean ordeal this is becoming. The show was Oct. 19, now it's Nov. 11, and I've been trying all this time to get the damn thing to work (see above)--so yeah, a month, and by now I'm frustrated as hell...
Ok, the sound quality--this is NOT a professional recording. My girl was kind enough to hold a voice recorder up in the air for the entire show, so if I can ever get this out to you guys please don't complain about the sound quality. From a scale of 1-10 (1 being it sounds like someone recorded the toilet flushing, 10 being a perfectly clear recording (i.e. the Louisville show) my tapes would rank about 8.
Like I said, I have about 1 minute of Waiting for Somebody if anyone wants to check it out. Just PM me.
Also, heard a rumour someone had already been giving out cds of this show. So, do you people still want to hear my recording? Just asking...

Ok, I think that's it. Sorry if this was long--just very, very frustrated right now. And the fact I haven't slept in a day isn't helping things. People--beware of working the graveyard shift. My whole sleeping paterns are f*cked up and now I can't sleep. I think I'm gonna start tripping soon... Or call up apple computers and tell them to go f* themselves.
Ok, sorry about that one. Anyone who can help PM or email me. Thanks
