It was great meeting everyone this weekend - I'm psyched so many people showed up at Lee's, even though Kevin pretended to miss his plane in order to get out of going I'm still sorting out Sunday night in my head, wild show. I talked to the security guys afterwards who basically said "we didn't stand a chance" once PW jumped on the floor with the mike. Here Comes A Regular was outstanding Sunday night. I'm so tired, can't imagine how I'm going to work tomorrow (cough cough oooo I think I may be sick). For people who were more on the ball than I was, if anyone has complete setlists for all three nights, send them along cause I'm lost. I got the written set lists for Sunday but as those of you who were at the show know, that doesn't begin to cover the last 30 minutes of what was played! I have a line on recordings for all three nights and if it comes thru, I will start weeding them out asap. Also anyone who has pictures they want to share send them on in too. I have some in my email and will be getting a show page up with all this stuff. Did anyone mention there were 3 different t-shirt designs there? One real nice Folker cover one, with the Pantages dates on the back. A black one and then a white one with the sharp dressed man pictures.

Yeah, I screwed up. I bought my son the shirt with the tour dates and the other two for myself. Of course, I needed the tour dates one, but they were all out of XL by the time the second show ended.

Hey Kathy!! It was great to finally meet you! Lee's was real interesting! And I bought all 3 shirts!!
I can't wait to hear Sunday's show. Sounds like it got out of control! Funny how they sure picked on me Friday night in front of the stage!
Marty
ps When Sadly Beautiful started on Friday I turned to look for my better half(she had made a bathroom run)
She was still at the door and hadn't even left. She didn't want to miss anything (first time seeing Paul w/ band!)
Sounds like they should have filmed Sunday!!

I thought Sunday's show was amazing. Being front and center at the stage for Here Comes A Regular was a great moment for me. And for my girly fan moment he pointed to me in my Husker Du shirt and lets just say I was pretty excited.
I was at all three shows and ever since I've been in this sort of Westerberg fog. All I can think about is what I saw this weekend and the songs don't leave my head. I really hope that someone recorded this so I can relive it again. Even just a CD. What a weekend!
Oh and I got the shirt with the tour dates and the sharp dressed man one.

Who was the guy playing the tamborine front and center right next to Paul? Now that guy really had a concert experience.

Was it 'Drummer Guy' from the Magnolias? I couldnt see him very well, but I think he was the one at the Guthrie.

I'll never forget that moment at the Guthrie. "Isn't anyone going to come up here and play this?"
We all froze in our seats except for our now infamous friend.
(ask again, ask again, ask again. Maybe we could just sing some backup vocals or something!!)
