Early comments and votes accepted if you really mean it, man
Note: the typo in Sunday's ballot line must be the Left Wing God's way of telling us Paul's gonna get all Steve Earley and play topical songs like Election Day and Someone Take the Wheel

I only saw Friday and Saturday's shows, but Saturday's show edged out Friday, once he started digging out some different songs from the previous night. The show seemed to pick up momentum as it went along, and a surprise IOU later in the set got everyone hopping. A set ending Alex Chilton and Left of the Dial was also very cool indeed. For those last two songs, a bunch of people rushed to the front of the stage. I was kicked by one of them, as he dove on stage to retrieve a pick, or something like that. Other than that, I got out unscathed. On a side note, a woman in the front row flashed the stage .

Song highlights:
Waiting For Somebody - Paul seems to really enjoy rippin this one up.
First Glimmer - I love how this builds with a band.
Making Me Go/As Far As I Know - Tight rock/pop keepers
Lookin Up In Heaven - nice twang and backbeat makes this pop live
I Will Dare - most dancable song each night
'Pleased To Meet Me' songs - Valentine, Nevermind, Alex Chilton, Can't Hardly Wait, Skyway...still sound fresh
AAA - with the Anyways All Right bridge...gives it a little more punch
Final Hurrah - admittedly always skipped before on CD....more muscular live
If Only Were Lonely/Skyway/Here Comes A Regular - like my favorite pair of shoes- comfortable
Michael Bland - that's a beat....what I would give to have a drummer that puts it in the pocket like that.

I liked the freshness, punch and energy of the Friday show, making it the best for me. And only me apparently.

I voted Saturday, even though I wasn't there. On the assumption that as at the Guthrie the best show is the one I skip. I'm sure I would walked too if like GGG I'd been to all three shows. I can only take so much. Paul seems to have the same prob.
