ah yes. my first westerberg show coming up on the 21st, not full westerberg but close. seen soul asylumand golden smog.

and lets just hope that i get tickets tomorrow for the full rockin westerberg show. should be exciting. glad i live in minneapolis for the first time in my life!!

anyways. suggestions for those of you coming out. i highly reccommend staying out of most bars downtown minneapolis while you are here...
but do go to Gleuks (always play great music!), O Donnovans (great small irish pub ), and fineline, first ave of course. fineline is really nice club, shows every night, really nice, not rock n roll ike first ave, but a great club nonetheless. Of course try and stop by the 400 bar!

Matts Burgers (for the juicy lucy!)....yes. thats my biggest suggestion.

myself, i'd steer away from gleuks. yuppie fvckers abound. matt's is a tip top suggestion, though, for non-vegetarians.

gleuks isnt band in my opinion. depends on the night. its better than old chicago and brothers etc...

soul asylum played a show there last week didnt they (gleuks that is) oh well, i think they have great beer and always spin good music, not club shit...

Lee's Liquor Lounge has Trailer Trash playing Nov.5th...and is also a sure bet to be serving Pabst Blue Ribbon.

If you're gonna go anywhere you should go to the CC Club. That's the obvious choice.
