It is time to take attendance, before the bus leaves...
Who is going to Louisville for the concert?
Are you going for both nights, or just the Saturday?
Are you going, even though you don't have tickets yet?
Mr. Blasty, if you happen to show up, are you going to honor your obligations to the M.W.T. members, and buy the first round?

Alas, I cannot make the show. Would one of you lucky, enterprising gents please bootleg the show? There's $2.50 in it for whoever does.

I was wondering if someone was going to record the show.
I'm in for both nights, and feeling guilty that I only have to drive 100 miles.

75% chance i will right now. Standing in the rain, with his head hung low Couldn't get a ticket, it was a sold out show... Heard the roar of the crowd, he could picture the scene Put his ear to the wall, then like a distant scream... He heard one guitar, just blew him away Saw stars in his eyes, and the very next day... he vowed that he would become a responsible adult, and handle matters in a more timely manner...

I'll be in Louisville in time for cocktails Friday night, but not the show. Staying at the Holiday Inn.
Did anyone actually get their tickets yet? I rifle through the garbage that shows up in my mailbox so fast some times I even throw away all my "past due" notices. I hope I didn't throw the tickets away.

All that TM promises is that they will arrive 48 hours before the event. Gee..thanks. On the up side, I've lost my tickets before, and called TM. They can re-issue at Will call, as long as you provide your ID and credit card used for purchase. The only good thing I can say about them.

Like the avatar. You know I never actually heard any JimCarroll music though I must have had that album in my hand like 50 times (and it was an album) considering it. I just never took the leap. I read the "The Basketball Diaries" and liked it very much, but never heard any of his music(except maybe by accident at a party or something) Good stuff?

I'm sure you've at least heard "People Who've Died" whether you're aware of it or not.

I thought his first album was the best, and 2nd and third were slightly sliding down hill. He does have a compilation album out, that pulls from all three. Read Basketball Diaries too, and misplaced it somewhere. Also read Living at the Movies (I think its called) which is a poetry collection. That was more difficult to get through, but you start to pick up the rhythm of his writing about 1/2 way through. He still does spoken word tours once in awhile, but I've never seen him live. His website is VERY well put together (but not as good as Kathy's ) (He can also be heard asking for drugs on the VU Live at Max's Kansas City on Brigid Polk's cassette ) PS, the Crow line is in reference to Patti Smith, a little Louisville tidbit.

I'll be there on Saturday night.
Going to see Josh Rouse this Friday. I've only found about him in the last few weeks and have liked what I've heard.

Besides, who is attending, who is bringing some form of musical instrument along? I'm hoping to hear the MWT All Star band.

I was thinking of bringing my 12-String acoustic, if others are going to bring an instrument. Hopefully SwinginParty will do some singing.
Who was the person who said they were going to have a Hootenanny? I think it might have been Media52 or some other new member. We need them to update us, as to what's going on with this.
