Has anyone taken a crack at this tab? I love this song and hope that Paul doesn't use a crazy tuning like usual, but who knows.

It's a beautiful song, this would be a good one to figure out. I sense it's in open tuning. I hear similar chords or the changes at least with "Man Without Ties". Call me crazy, but I hear it. when the morning comes, we'll run for the pines...don't want no wife or no beginner with a knife...or maybe not!

if it is an open tuning my guess would be open F# or open G. or some tuning of that nature unfortunatally i don't really know much about chord shapes in those tunings. the reason why i think this is because i hear similarities in songs like "born for me" and "we may be the ones" i know that "love you in the fall." is in open A. my guitar teacher tought some of it to me.

I hear Meet Me Down the Alley, chord-wise. mixing up B, F# & E.

Cotton,
yeah, you know I hear a little of Meet Me Down the Alley in WML as well.
I think WML is in open A and the chords may be those used for Let The Bad Times Roll. I've been playing around with them a bit and it seems close.

its C F G if you want to play it in standard tuning. With a few different changes in there. its definitaly in an open tuning though. Very similar to born for me. also, i think he's a 1/2 step down.
thats my take
