Has Paul Westerberg (in Mats or post Mats) performed or recorded a song written by someone who was born later than him?
(Backing vocals if any on Satellite excepted)

Thought I had two answers for you TTBO, but Prince was born on June 7, 1958; Michael Jackson born August 29, 1958.

They did a ton of covers as the Mats, but I really wonder if any of the artists they covered were younger. Maybe one of they youngsters in the family with the Italian name that did "Heart Beat, it's a Love Beat"

Didn't they cover "Radio Free Europe" a few times? I think Paul is older than Michael Stipe by a few weeks. (could be wrong, though. I don't have the time to investigate that right now.)

Curiosity got to me so I checked. Paul is older than Michael Stipe by a whopping 5 days, but he's younger than Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Bill Berry so by a 3-1 result, REM counts as an older composer.

Could be a younger one though ... is Ani any relation I wonder? Does anyone know what I'm talking about I wonder? I did stumble across the website of someone who performed with the DeFranco Family and played the role of Jan on a late version of the Brady Bunch who was born on Paul's birthday! See Six Degrees Mobeus Strip thread for all the details.

"Postcards From Paradise" Flesh For Lulu. I'm surprised someone hasn't said this yet. The song is credited to the whole band, but their first album came out in 1984, so I'm guessing PW is older than them. (couldn't find the birthdays, though)
If I'm right, do I get the big fruit basket now?
