Extremely idle curiousity:
Has anyone seen CFMT on the shelves of a video rental place?
Or for that matter, anywhere besides your own shelf, a record store rack, or Best Buy?

Since the initial release, I haven't seen a single copy anywhere. But I live in an area where most people do not have that broad of a musical horizon. Mostly chest-thumping Durst wannabes and classic rockers.

I spotted the DVD at Borders, selling for $19.95, and that's been it. I kept waiting for Best Buy to offer the later release with skyway and lush and green and it never happened. They are or at least were selling the later release on Overstock.com for around $14. I recomment the place..prices are good and no or low cost shipping (2.95 max) most days...However, selection is hit and miss.
By the way, overstock must be a misnomer, as I doubt CFMT was ever overstocked anywhere!

I saw a couple at an indie record store, used, mixed in with the CFMT cds. I think they were the Best Buy early copies (not in the plastic dvd boxes).

The same dozen or so copies of the non-Skyway/L&G DVD have been stuffed in the rack at our Best Buy since the day it was released. I look in on them every time I'm forced by my kids to go to the mall. They're like dogs waiting to be put to sleep. I think I'm the only person in our entire county who bought one. Before it was released, the guy at our local indie record store, the one who always asks sardonically if I'm looking for "Westerberg Triple Live," just laughed when I asked him if he had the Westy DVD in ... thought I was kidding. Pathetic.

I saw one copy at Barnes and Noble yesterday as I was looking for the new Stooges DVD. I still haven't found that damned Stooges DVD.

Has anyone seen CFMT on the shelves of a video rental place? I mostly rent movies through Netflix nowadays, but they do have it. BTW, Netflix is a great deal if you rent a lot of DVDs.

BTW, Netflix is a great deal if you rent a lot of DVDs. I agree, Netflix rocks. I've been using them for over a year now. I started W/the basic membership & then upgrade to the $40.00 deal. I've saved over $300.00 in rental fees W/in the last year alone. Of coarse, I watch LOTS of movies. The only draw back: No Porn.
