Hey First Ave, Not sure where you're coming from, but I just thought there was a cool parallel: PW always makes sure to take some Big Star along for the ride in his song about one of HIS musical influences, and, in a song bitching about others who are influenced by him, he flips it and asserts that, say, Ryan Adams never goes anywhere without toting PW along. Could be literal, ie, you carry tapes and CDs, or metaphorical, ie, all your stuff has the influences of another. And yeah, maybe you can fit Jesus in there too.
