Yes! I have at last tracked down a copy of this little collection of wonders. I'd say it's damn good, American phrases such as 'the shit', or 'the bomb' would also apply.
Psychopharmacology is the current favourite, although Hot Un also gets the feet tapping. As for Lush and Green, he played it at the Scala and it sounded fantastic there too.
Why is this out of print? More to the point why did he record such a nifty little ep under a pseudonym? Although I do love the writing credit for 'Winthrope Marion Purcival V'.
The grey cloud at the centre of the silver lining is that two songs 'I Want My Money Back' and 'Undone' are missing. Damnit! Back to ebay and the second hand record dealers.

They were selling this EP at the merchandise stand over the weekend. I saw a couple in front of me buy, what I think, was the last copy, at least for that night's show.

I got myself a copy of this at Saturday night's show, and it's pretty darned good. Too bad it's only an EP! I really don't know what my favorite is. My least favorite though is Lush And Green because it kind of seems out of place among the other songs. I still like it though.

I'm sad to say I do not own a copy, but I have heard it and it's definitely a great EP. I personally thought "Lush and Green" fit in perfectly on the album as the sole ballad to provide levity to the rest (kinda like "Johnny's Gonna Die" or "Go" off of the early Replacements records). Highlight for me is "Homeless Sexual", which I wish he'd attempt live.

the Ep , and preceeding 7 inch which has i want my money back etc, were done right after paul got signed to capitol so he made up the grandpaboy moniker, i believe.....i am not sure if you can get the 7inch anywhere...try eBAY........in an interview after they came out, he mentioned a whole album worth of amteril coming out, never happened though....monolyth, which is the label its on is run by darren hill, paul's manager nowadays, and friend from back in the day, he played bass in red rockers....."ch....i....na, ch...i...na...."...nifty little mid 80's college radio tune.....also of note, some know this this wholepaul obsessed meassage board thing really started back in the monolyth board, man that was some good ol fun....
