has anyone read the review in the rocky mountain news from 10/23? Paul mentions that "these days" ended up on cfmt "only by mistake" and that everything goes wrong was supposed to be on the cd. that was something that definitley went wrong! i'd love to get a copy of that song on cd. it rocks!!

It reminded me of "Something is Me" too --- and did you ever notice that "Something is Me" steals from "Twas the Night Before Christmas":
to the top of the porch to the top of the wall dash away, dash away, dash away all (something went wrong, my name is Paul)
just another bit of useless observation

Does anyone know how to pull the audio off of the DVD so it might be burnt onto a CD? I'd love to add it to a copy of CFMT. Thanks for any hints.

I in no way want to foster the breaking of copyright laws but there is software that allows you to rip from DVD's and create MP3 files of the audio. Im just saying and obviously not condoning any piracy of moving pictures and such.

I thought PW fans were nerds..... geez
Here's the simple low-tech way to create a copy.
1) Put DVD into your computer (buy it first) 2) Open up Sound Recorder (standard Windows Accessory). 2) Record about 3 minutes of blankness in sound recorder 3) Convert blank into something with higher quality via the properties menu 4) Play the DVD, press record on Sound recorder and record the friggin music 5) Edit song to proper lenght 6) Copy into yer I-pod/Rio/CDR.......or whatever, it sounds great

The audio on the DVD is pretty poor with wildly fluctuating volume levels. This great tune needs a properly mastered CD release.
