Does Rolling Stone only release lists now?
But hey, it's nice to see the Mats' in the number two spot.

i think we have gone through that list here a few months ago, but i will say it again: most everyone on that list is VERY appreciated & influential. tons & tons of recent & current bands cite these musicians as influences. the public at large however....
oh, and who is #12?

That list is scientifically exact and has been vetted. They couldn't find anybody who was underappreciated to the 12th position. Seriously.

So, wait a minute. This is a poll, (which means the list is ranked according to who gets the most votes) about who is the most underappreciated?
Do you have to not get votes to be most unappreciated? Silly.

Their sound cannot be categorized. They are completely unique and ingredibly eclectic. They record everything, from Thin Lizzy sould alikes to Spanish/Mexican ballads.
I'm sure you have heard them before.
Push the little Daisies Voodoo Lady Ocean Man
to name a few.
Many of their recorded songs are warped and comedic in nature, but often times are completely different live.
do a search on youtube and you'll get a ton of videos. Understand though, they permit audience recordings so the quality might not be as good.

But, they are sorta "R" rated so leave the kids behind. CF
