Come see these music videos from the First Avenue Archives, dated from 1980 to 1997 at BLB on Tuesday nights, May 29th, June 5th, June 17th and 24th, July 19th and 26th (a series of 6 total) Advance tickets available at BrownPaperTickets.com.
These are the "produced" videos that were deteriorating in the basement of First Avenue. Rick Fuller, Jagged Edge, Hartwig Music, Copy Cats Media, Pixel Farm and a bunch of other volunteers helped gather, restore and archive them for benefit of the Diverse Emerging Music Organization (DEMO). DEMO is the non-profit started by Steve McClellan.
We had a total of 55 artists whose videos were in good enough shape to restore and have put them all on these "mix tapes."
