Big thanks to Tom for the picture below, taken yesterday (3/31) at Twins spring training in FLA. He ran into Paul and his son at the game and got this pic. Paul's injured hand was in a baseball glove, which seems like a good sign. Note the deconstructed GPBoy clothes (ripped off sleeves, ripped off collar).

Cool, very cool!
Kills off any of images I had of Paul brooding in his basement, agonizing over a non-working hand.

I remember Paul saying in an interview that, growing up, his family never went on vacations. Good to hear that he's broken that tradition and having fun with his boy. One of the great things about having children is getting the opportunity to do things with them that your parents never would.

For some reason that makes me happy, especially the part about the glove.

For some reason that makes me happy, especially the part about the glove. Me too. I love seeing Paul looking happy and as if he's enjoying himself.

That's a cool random sighting. He looks like any other fan with his hat and team shirt.

As a long suffering Orioles fan (I hate Peter Angelos and what he's done to the club), I agree. Posing with a Yankees fan??!!! Cool sighting, thanks for sharing that. It's good to know Paul is in good spirits and getting into the start of baseball season. (I'm actually going to the Nationals opening day tomorrow. Nothing like playing hooky while you have a hot dog and a beer at the ball park!)

Paul must be happy---Twins beat the Orioles today at their Opening Day. I watched the Nationals get crushed by the Marlins this afternoon.

I'm 95% sure the Goo Goo's have done this as well. They play it all the time at Padres games. It sounds just like them.

yes, the Hold Steady are very good at sounding just like other people So good that Craig Finn and that other PW fan favorite vocalist, Jesse Malin, were among the volunteers to join Bruce Springsteen on lead vocals on "Rosalita" at his all-star tribute concert at Carnegie Hall.
