Does PW have enough piano/vocal songs now for a complete CD of those type of tracks?
I'm not sure if it would be a satisfying listen or not, but it might make an interesting compilation, beginning (?) with "Androgynous."

Great idea! I'd put up "The Last", "Self-Defense" and "I Belong" as nominees for a PW keyboard comp, too. Also, I really like how he uses keys in tunes that are essentially guitar driven - the intro to "Fugitive Kind", that great, brief, high run at the beginning of "I'll Be You", the gorgeous little solo in "Born For Me" and what is that sound he gets in "Any Better Than This"? It's a bit like the signature riff in "Tears Rolling Up Our Sleeves" and seems to deployed here and there on Stereo and Folker, as well.

Chan Poling is married to Eleanor Mondale, who has a new morning talk radio show in MPLS. Just if you needed 6 degrees of separation between PW and Billy Carter. The Sessions Anthology is four discs with outtakes from Replacements sessions from Sorry Ma through at least PTMM. Maybe it needs to get weeded again.
