why would anyone have to outgrow paul? he is a fabulous musician who is aging well if you ask me. asking someone when he is going to grow out of the ramones is a little more understandable, but still... my answer to that one, too, is fucking never.

I think you might outgrow a Chipmunks record but why would you outgrow a good record anytime? Folks who were into the Stones, Beatles and Who as kids still love them today. And sad but true I know many folks who like the crap 80's hair bands and still like it to this day. I have come to the conclusion that I can't even really judge a record these days until after several years. If I still listen to it then it is good to me!!
The question is should not be when will you outgrow a band (Paul) but rather when will you stop allowing yourself to find new music and great new bands? Most folks seem to lock themselves into a decade and thats it for the rest of their lives. There is always great music out there, you just need to put a bit of effort into finding it.
The bottom line is you should never outgrow a great record!! Although great artist sometimes put out crappy records.

the day i stop listening to paul is the day they lock down the lid to my coffin,oh and by the way,i will have my collection in there with me.hey there's an interestin thread,what cd's would you take with you to the other side. if you believe in the other side!
