The CIA busts into your house and the well-dressed agents inform you that you're in mortal danger - recent radio chatter indicates that al Qaeda is targeting you for assassination.
You have a few hours to gather your things and then they're going to take you to a safe house. They tell you that you can burn a CD before you leave, but that a little-known subsection of the Patriot Act allows you to burn just one song from any given artist.
For purposes of this board, that means you could only include one song from each of the following [if you so desired]:
The Mats Paul Westerberg/Grandpaboy [the CIA is hip to his many alter egos] Tommy Stinson Perfect Bash & Pop Chris Mars
What song do you choose?

I don't trust this whole situation so I would pick songs that sound like they might contain top secret messages in case they came in handy (ie, under torture I could tell my interregators that "Paul is Dead" or "The walrus is Paul").
Mats - We'll Inherit the Earth (nice obscure background voices) PW/Gpaboy - AAA (undecipherable meanings) Tommy Stinson - Village Gorilla Head (the song) Perfect - the missing track that was on "Seven Days" but left off the "Once, Twice" reissue Bash & Pop - Tickled to Tears (because that's all the torture I could handle) Chris Mars - Popular Creeps (creeps is kind of like spooks)

Yikes! This is worse than that old Desert Island Disc question! Can't I just take my guitar and play any of 'em I want? No. CIA safehouse regulations explicitly prohibit the playing of guitars. Mandolins are accepted, however, as are bongo drums and lutes.

Mandolins are accepted, however, as are bongo drums and lutes. In that case, I'll go with "Left of the Dial" and "Black Eyed Susan"..... (and sneak in my ocarina!)
