Ok so I've been reading so much about this goddamn band and everytime their promo picture has freaked me out.
I don't know how to post pictures here but the Raconteurs picture has them all huddled and laughing EXACTLY like the one where Paul and Bob are across from one another with Bob making a smooching face while Chris and Tommy laugh in the background.
Whoever photographed must be a big fan. I can't really see Jack White digging the Mats too much...
Please post the pictures if you know what I'm talking about...

I've had their album for about a month, it is a must have. Most of it is very Beatlesy, 66-67 era Beates. It really is an awesome album. I would loove to see them at First Avenue but I am going to Lollapalooza and would have to be on the road or in Chicago at the time of their show. Atleast they're playing at Lollapalooza though!

Paul looks like Jeff Tweedy in that picture (or vice versa).

Sadly, I was only born in 87, so I never really got to live through the 'trendy' 80s hairstyles. I did have a hell of a fro though. Man, how things change.

I picked up the album yesterday on vinyl, it looks really nice. Great cover. I also got a Steady, As She Goes CD single that is backed with an instrumental called The Bane Rendition. It isn't the most interesting b-side of all time. A better purchase was the 45 that has an acoustic version of Steady, As She Goes.

"Broken Boy Soldiers" is great. I seriously doubt if Jack White can really screw anything up right now.....
