odd they used stills from the music videos, since hardly anyone actually ever saw the videos on tv.

odd they used stills from the music videos, since hardly anyone actually ever saw the videos on tv. These are stills from the infamous Ledge video, released in 1987 it was immediatly banned by MTV due to the suicide themed lyrics. The video received a second chance after they took the same footage and played Alex Chilton over it.. So, after the double duty, these should be fairly well known images. CF

Liner notes are by Bill Holdship, so they should be pretty damn good.

It looks like Paul's handwriting on "The Replacements".
Also, the yellow tape reminds me of the Suicaine Gratifaction cover.
Wonder if this will actually be in a jewel box or if it will continue Paul's trend of the cardboard cd covers?

I think it's funny they used pictures from "The Ledge" for the cover pictures...
but I like it!
(Not sure why the choose touse a red-green gradient...not complaining, however)

I think the Ledge is on the AlloFor Nothing/Nothibng For All and both are on YouTube, which was the first time I ever saw the Alex Chilton one, and the video doesn't work fot that song. Saw The Ledge 10 years ago on MuchMusic and I taped it, still got the VHS tape. Got Bastards of Young and Left of The Dial on there too.
