Lookin up in heaven, the "I love you" part.
Anyone ever notice this in "Here comes a regular"? If not, go get a pair of heaphones.
After the line "First the lights, the collar goes up, the wind begins to blow".... you will here the sound of chimes. I can 100% picture a cold, snowy MLPS night. Street are empty minus a few cars and some people in some bars. Last call comes around...people start leaving, open the door to go outside and there are chimes hangong on the the door that ring as you step outside into the cold night.
I LOVE THIS MUSIC! IT SPEAKS TO ME!

The way Paul stretches out the word "own" in the line "Makin' love in my owwwwwwn backyard."
The hiccup-y delivery of the two "you know what I'm sayin'" lines in Favorite Thing.
"a thing I give awaaaaaay...hey hey" and the guitar solo that follows as the song fades out
The "really ought to be one" counter-vocal he sings against the closing choruses of "Silent Film Star"
the strangled way he sings the words "I used to" at the beginning of a couple of verses of "Knockin' 'Em Back." (When my girlfriend first heard that she made me to go back on the CD and play it again -- she thought it was a cat and not a human being making that sound...)

the bottle at the start of "23 Years Ago And the satisfied sigh, like that was one good swig of beer that comes as soon as he sits the bottle down. I think you could almost have this thread per song or album. Otherwise, its sort of overwhelming.

The begining of "The Ledge" - the second guitar screams in like a siren, then that firecracker snare drum and Tommy's ominous bass line... The song is six or seven seconds old and you feel like you've been slapped in the face. Brilliant rock & roll.

The first 14 seconds of 'Lookin' Out Forever'. Of course, the whole song is great, but the intro with all those jerky, muted little guitar parts sounds awesome...

I also like... the very end of C&D when you can her him say "yeah" to Johnny. that slide guitar in These Days. love all of the Postcards cover, but the "wind down your window, think I'm gonna kiss ya, I dunno what else to do" is especially sweet. the laughs in Man w/o Ties when the drums kick in on Nobody.

The last half minute of Little Mascara, when PW switches from 'left to cry-i-i' to 'never cry-i-i'. i'm with ya. i also love the fact that the first 'cry-i-i' part switches to the key of G (from A), and then at the end (after the triplets), it stays in the key of A. nice touch. adds to the climax of the song.

Realize this isn't explained well, but I like how he delayed the "took a shower" part the second time around and has it run into cadillac's running.... it makes it sound more rushed and urgent to get the god damned tonsilectomy over with.

Indeed, there are loads of examples, but I am amazed that nobody picked up the sheer emotion when Paul sings "...rather funny" on Unsatisfied on Let It Be. Listen to it now.
Close behind must be the line "One more chance to get it all wrong" off We're Coming Out. Or the fade out to The Last, not as climactic a final song off a final album as You Can Live At Home Now by Husker Du, but nearly.
