They just played the Twin Cities for the first time in a good long while. Think he went, or caught up with them somewhere somehow?
Maybe they all went out to breakfast together to celebrate Buddy Holly's birthday.

Well he should have at least went to the post show party at the Turf. Eleganza rocked some good stones tunes as well as some ZZ Top, Creedence and Willy Nelson.

"the rolling stones are playing in philly tonight... but we're better, so f*ck 'em."
great quote (I think it was said tongue in cheek) Who knows. At the end of the Come Feel Me Tremble DVD though he included a picture of him (in what looks like a backstage area) with the great Keith!

So this brings up another question: Would the Stones go see Paul?

So this brings up another question: Would the Stones go see Paul? Based on the quality of their latest album, they really should pencil in a little time for a PW show. Maybe gain a bit of inspiration and actually put something listenable out.

I haven't heard the Stones latest yet but if it's lacking, I wonder if that has something to do with Charlie Watts being absent due to illness. I wonder how he's doing? (Haven't had time to look into it.)

The Stones new album, A Bigger Bang, is the best thing they've done since Steel Wheels and you can take that to the bank, cause that's the name of that tune; Charlie Watts recovered from throat cancer and looks pretty good, considering he's 64 years old...

And the cover...awful. Just absolutely god awful. I'm already sick of looking at it on the display at work. I think I'm going to take sale stickers and cover every inch of every Bigger Bang cover in the store so it cannot be seen. I'll consider it my duty to protect an innocent public.

Easy sister, and I really didn't pay much attention to the cover; I didn't think they were capable of making another good album but they did...

My guess is that Paul would see the Stones. I saw their show at the Garden and they can still put on a great show, even though they seem to keep doing the same songs every tour, year after year. My favorite song that night was "19th Nervous Breakdown", which they did at a slower tempo, and it sounded really good. I was disappointed that Keith didn't do "Before they make me run" or "Happy" - he did 2 new songs instead. Their new song sort of sounded like an Exile- type song, which was pretty good. I wished they had done more obsure songs like "Tops", "Summer romance"," Star Star" and my favorite Stones song of all time "Memory Motel". Maybe they keep sticking to the same songs because Mick's voice is much deeper now. When I heard the new version of "19 Nervous Breakdown" I was thinking that it may have been Paul's influence on Keith Richards, but it turns out it was Mick's idea to do it that way. One thing I love about Paul's shows is that he changes songs all the time and he does different cover songs too.
