Here's that latest unauthorized use of Westerberg's proprietary phrase: "Rebel Without a Clue" That is, unless he didn't come up with it first. Anyone have other uses of it, either pre- or post- DTAS?

Westerberg didn't come up with it. I remember people using it as a taunt back middle school (circa 1980), so it was already a popular phrase long before our Paul uttered it. There's even a Bonnie Tyler song called "Rebel Without a Clue" that predates "I'll Be You" by 3 years. A google search shows that there was also a novel by Holly Uyemoto called "Rebel Without a Clue" which was published around the same time " Don't Tell a Soul" came out and then a Quantum Leap episode of the same name not long after.
