Anyone else have this on repeat play? I just can't help myself.
And Come On must be PW's favorite toss in-line... my daydream, knockin',
there must be others.... cellar?

I'm ready to tear my hair out. I'm playing my Besterberg on my computer at work and it won't play the last two tracks. The only two I do not yet know every word to and the ones I want to listen to most. I have no idea what the problem is.
worked fine last night at home on my discman.

I got this CD yesterday and played "C'mon" in the car REALLY LOUD and it sounded great.
I brought it home and imported the unreleased stuff onto my iTunes. I played "C'mon" on the computer REALLY LOUD and it sounded great.
This morning I popped Besterberg into the CD player of my DJ system. I played "C'mon" REALLY F*CKIN' LOUD and I was in heaven.
I think I pissed off my neighbor, but he'll get over it...

Yeah, it's a perfect driving song....very fast driving.....
The crazy thing is, Paul probably has 4938575896 of these sweet rockers under his belt that haven't seen the light of day.

"Come on, let's get out of here" is the single most common line in the history of American cinema. Followed by: "I don't know where they went, but wherever it is, they sure left in a hurry." oh and could a song called c'mon little bitch be any less mysogynistic?

Followed by: "I don't know where they went, but wherever it is, they sure left in a hurry." Not to be outdone by the wonderful exchange of: "Do you hear that?" "I don't hear anything. It's completely quiet." "Yeah.... too quiet!"

oh and could a song called c'mon little bitch be any less mysogynistic? I like that aspect of it. Good thing that one singer (female, name escapes me, did that bitch song) didn't cover it. That shit don't fly here is this week's favorite line.

oh and could a song called c'mon little bitch be any less mysogynistic? finally. i have been meaning to post this very thought. the only thing i wonder about is the "bitch" him/herself. is the "bitch" the dude? or is it a woman? drop the word "bitch" and the song is undeniably a feminist manifesto. the word "bitch" certainly makes it interesting, though. "a woman's place ain't in the house. that joker hasn't learned it yet. slap the taste right out of his mouth... c'mon c'mon c'mon little bitch." doesn't he also call the man a "fascist", too? also something about biting his hand next time he beckons... almost fugazi-ish lyrically. then the word "bitch". it's weird.

The way I'm reading it is that he isn't calling the woman a bitch but the guy who she is with ("he") is calling her a bitch.
I’m out and shouting next time he starts calling, “C’mon c’mon c’mon little bitch”
Paul calls her "little child" and chastises her to keep her pride.
Granted, he isn't above a little mysogyny at times so I could be wrong.

Wasn't that Merideth Brooks? And yeah, this song's chorus is irresistable....been singing it in my head this entire morning! This song is getting the "hit repeat" treatment in the car too.

Don't forget the whole 'dog' aspect of the lyrics, perhaps there's more there than meets the eye...

Come on, he says "Come on" about 25 times in "My Daydream." And a couple three times in "Meet Me Down The Alley."
