After listening to the Besterberg Eventuallyl out takes I'm really pissed off. Who the f*** picked the tracks to put on Eventually and left off all of these great songs really full of life. There are so many songs on Eventually that have no life at all and I strart falling asleep(Once around weeken,Angels walk,trumpet clip). At that time he had these songs he could've put on:
Seein Her
Man without ties
Cmon Cmon
All that I Had
Stain Yer Blood
Maybe I'll make my own Eventually CD taking out the crap.

I'm not a huge fan of Trumpet Clip but I would like it quite a bit more if it had different lyrics. Otherwise I have to say I think Eventually is excellent the way it is so I would only add the songs you listed.

Songs I liked from Eventually: These Are the Days, Century, Love Untold, MommaDaddyDid, Once Around the Weekend, Trumpet Clip, Angels Walk, and Good Day. That's more than half the record, but the rest of it definately amounts to some of his lesser, more forgettable songs.
Having just heard the outtakes, I'd probably replace "I've Had With You" w/ "C'mon C'mon C'mon" and "Time Flies Tomorrow" would be gone in favor of "All That I've Had". Both outtakes are far better songs.

who was that? who said that? someone DARED call angels walk subpar?
c'mon c'mon c'mon wouldn't fit AT ALL on an album like "eventually". it's a great outtake, but it wouldn't fit the album. maybe it would fit the feel of 14 songs a little more.... all that i had would DEFINITELY work on "eventually", though. and it should've.
glad i get to hear them both on "besterberg".

Here are the songs that I know to be from the "aborted" Brendan O'Brien sessions:

Angels Walk

While fully understanding that it's a Rhino/Reprise project, please note that 5 of these 6 songs made it on to Besterberg.
Makes me wonder what else from those sessions was deemed "no good"...
