Look, i just graduated from college with a degree i can't use. I have nothing to do with my time. How about Paul lets me back him up on tour? I have my own equipment, i know all his songs, and i need maybe 15 dollars a day to eat at Wendy's and buy beer.

guidedbysphincterman, I am afraid you have missed the boat, my friend...
Kathy put out an open call a few weeks back for artistes such as yourself, to back Paul up on the upcoming tour...

Venkman,
Hi, this is 100Bucks- "Folker" tour manager. It is true what El Goodo says re: slots for the backing band on the "Folker" tour- they are filled. But, we recently started taking applications for alternates (I guess we forgot to send el goodo the memo).
As you might imagine with a touring rock band there's always the sudden and unexpected circumstances of drug overdoses, arrests, imploding drummers etc. etc. and to keep the tour rocking there is a need for backups to the backups.
Although I already have plenty of other applications I think I want to put yours at the top of the pile. I like a guy who drains his parents bank account with a useless degree and then looks to make $15 a day touring with a rock band (btw, for that kind of money you'll also be expected to unload and carry everybody's luggage up to their hotel rooms).
OK, before I send you an application you must pass the pre-application test. Just answer the five questions below. Take your time and just answer to the best of your ability. No pressure.
1. Who is Herman Hesse? 2. Who has better hair Michael Stipe or Billy Corrigan? 3. Given the chance to either kill or become intimate with Jewel, what would you do? 4. Complete the following sentence: "Where's the... 5. In a short essay please explain how you would respond if an anxiety ridden singer/songwriter of legendary status started to butt out his lit cigars on your arms?
Thanks. Looking forward to hearing from you.

The drummer for Manowar Well, that's a trick question because everybody knows Michael Stipe wears a hair piece, so I'd have to go with Billys red afro Hmmm, I can only pick one? All right...Be intimate. No, wait, Kill! No, be intimate. best place to find a corned beef sandwich in Oslo? I'd say, "Quit it, Ryan!" Then I'd kick his teeth in. [That short enough?] Do I get the gig?

Sorry Clay- you got a 1/2point on #4 and a1/2point on #5 for a score 1. You should know you received those scores not because you were half right, but because your answers were funny.
You wanna take the t-shirt selling test?
