I have emailed Tommy's booking agent and management to see whether there will be at least a stand-alone London gig. The way these things seem to work is that the festival support gig subsidises the cost of coming over for a headline club gig so here's hoping. Often you are not allowed to announce your own gig until a certain number of weeks beforehand. If I hear anything further I will post it here.

Can I get a trade on this ?
Shot in HD from the side good picture and sound (and a great performance). I count 30 tracks including some real deep cuts. Colour sleeve etc, printed disc (but a DVDR)
Would like Soundboards from any PWesterbeg / Mats London gigs (I do have some already) so email me simon@onlyrockandroll.london
Or any other rare soundboard / studio stuff / etc
Thanks
Simon

I am doing a piece on The Book and emailing Bob Mehr some questions. If there is anything that you really you want to ask Bob about I am happy to include your question with mine. I am also conducting a similar exercise with Peter Jesperson, who has graciously agreed to answer my questions - again let me know if there is anything you want included.

"There exists professionally recorded footage of the Replacements September 2014 appearance before 15,000 rabid hometown fans at the Midway Stadium in Minneapolis which would according to Darren make a cool DVD. " Darren being Mats co-manager, this quote taken from my interview with PW last summer , full piece available at www.onlyrockandroll.london. Darren made it sound like PW was not keen to put anything out but who knows....

So here is my short review of the Replacements at the London Roundhouse, written for Record Collector magazine onlyrockandroll.london/2015/07/16/the-replacements-london-roundhouse-june-2-and-3/There is a much longer piece to come which includes my interview with Paul. We did it after the June 3rd show so it seems to be the last interview he did as a Replacement. There will be more of Robin Pope's photos as well.

I'll be spinning some vintage vinyl in between the bands tonight and tomorrow, come by and say hello. The records I've packed are mostly Mats-related...

In preparation for the London Roundhouse show I wanted to listen to their previous London show. When I tried to download the show from the excellent Replacements Live Archive Project website I got all manner of dire warnings about the terrible things that would happen to my computer if I proceeded. So I didn't. Downloading other shows has been via Mega and very straightforward but attempting to download the Marquee show took me to a very different website. I would still like to download the show as I was there. Can anyone offer any advice? Thank you.
