So...if the Mats were to release another live show which would you choose? I was listening to a recording of them playing at 1st Avenue in 1986 today and was thinking it would be awesome for it to get the 'official release' treatment. Same year as the Maxwell's show though. But, then again, it would be Replacementsesque (like my new word?) for them to put out another live record from the same year.
What are some of your favorites? Regardless of the sound quality of your boot, we can pretend that they have a pristine recording tucked away. Fitzgerald's 83? Jimmy's (New Orleans) 85?
You are in charge. What should they release?
p.s. - Anyone know how many copies a cd (like the Maxwell's release) has to sell before a profit is made?

Club Lingerie Oct. 26th 1984. Great show that the bootleg already sounds pretty good!

Bogarts is indeed amazing...and so is Allentown 1989 at the Airport Music hall.

That's a mash-up of different shows. The full Inconcerated set remains unreleased. We only have 5 songs.

I would love to see a reunion show album (or compilation of reunion show stuff).

Paul, why hast thou forsaken us?!!!
Yes, I would also like to see the DVD of the reunion tour and any CD releases of recorded shows. I thought he said he was going to get that out. I was hoping it would be for like an Xmas release or something. Would be a fun way to start off the holidays!

I thought Maxwells is perfect for an official Mat's release. That show was much better than the ones I have seen with Bob. That said, I wouldn't mind a well engineered sampling of their reunion tour...
