Thoughts on the song that was released. Beatlesque? Chiltonesque? I hear a little of each mixed with the Westerberg basement stylings. And I like it. What a great present it is when these Westerberg releases appear out of nowhere.

Not to my likin', sounds more like Jesse Pinkman than The Beatles.
Now the new one on Mastery Bridge's Twitter, that's more like it. It's got Mick and Keith all smothered over it.

What a great present it is when these Westerberg releases appear out of nowhere. There's definitely a White Album era Beatles feel to it in the background. I personally like it! Interested to hear more.

I go away for awhile and missed out on the news....typical Paul, just teasing us fans and doing guerilla releases under a pseudonym. See what happens when you go away? Just when you think he's gone dead silent and back in his hole, he throws something out there.

"The Maharaja's entourage Has got a sale in our garage"
Well yes I like that. And I also like
"We got it made Never meditate on gettin paid"
I thought all the Beatles talk about the first one was off the mark. It seemed more like PW does Scott Walker. But now, with the thematic elements of this one, not so sure.

The Hawk song - sounds like a dad dealing with an irritating rebellious teenager. Been there. Hell, I AM there. I think Johnny would be 19, he's a year older than my oldest.
Haven't posted here in ages, hope you are all doing well. Frankly I am not favorably impressed by either of these tunes.
