I can't really narrow it down to one. You are correct Gravy, should be all of the above and more.

Forget what I said about some of Paul's interviews being 'bullshitty'; on stage he has the complete inability to 'fake it'. Oh, and he wears thrift store rags with more panache than any straight man should be allowed.

If I had to pick one it would be his lyrics but it is much more than that. Has more to do with ability to make you feel like being an outsider is an okay kind of thing. And he taps that emotion better than almost anyone around.

It's hard to choose just one reason why we like the guy. It's all the above and any other personal reasons why we like him.

Please,
For the guys at least you have to say that he has lived a life that we envy but did not have it in us to jump off that same cliff. We have all lived that life through him in some way.
And he put himself through it becoming who he is.
Like on Wed. night at the Ford. He came on stage laughed and said "How was work today?"

Well the music, duh. Coarse, giving a cold fan your jacket scores ponts in my book. Bonus points for the jock strap. ;D Haha, that was great. Definitely in agreement that there should be an all of the above. I love the music, the lyrics, the fashion sense, the attitude, wit and humor and even being a female I envy how he's lived his life. His experiences have to be amazing, in both the good and bad sense.
